π What is the Great Homestays of India, network?
Great Homestays of India is a One-of-a-Kind hospitality network that helps homestays and similar properties connect directly with travellers, without commission charges or middlemen. Member properties get visibility on social media and through an AI-driven matching system.
π Who can join the Great Homestays network?
A wide range of accommodation providers can join, including: homestays, bed and breakfasts, guest houses, lodges, tourist homes, farm stays, tent accommodations, houseboats, villas, cottages, rest houses, holiday camps, and more (Excluding Hotels and Resorts).
π What are the membership charges?
Enjoy membership starting at just βΉ1,111 per month, regardless of the type of property you own.
π Are there any offers or discounts on membership?
Yes β Great Homestays offers several discounts if you pay in advance:
β’ 10% discount for 3 months advance payment, works out to just βΉ1,000 per month.
β’ 25% discount for 6 months advance payment, works out to just βΉ833 per month.
β’ 40% discount for 12 months advance payment, works out to just βΉ667 per month.
π Do you take commission on bookings?
No β Great Homestays does not take any commission from your bookings. You receive payments directly from travellers.
π How does Great Homestays make money?
Our revenue is derived from three key sources: 20% from membership fees, 40% from social media channels and collaborative partnerships, and the remaining 40% from advertisers featured on our website.
π How do I register my property?
You follow a simple 4-step sign-up process:
1. Submit a sign-up request.
2. Use your propertyβs Unique Invitation Code (or generate a new one).
3. Complete the property registration form and allow our team to vet your property.
4. Make payment when instructed β instantly, your property goes live on the platform.
π What if I am not able to register online?
Alternatively, you can send all your property details through WhatsApp or E-mail and our team will set-up your property for you, in the Great Homestays platform.
π What kinds of support or promotion do member properties receive?
Member properties get increased visibility online, including strong presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, and benefit from an AI-driven system that matches properties with travellersβ preferences.
π How do travellers book my property?
Travellers connect with your property directly once your property is live β no agents, travel platform commissions or cash backs are involved.
π Is there any requirement for promotional content?
Under the current offer, we expect you to shoot 1 video every week (till the validity of your membership) and send it to us, on our WhatsApp No. +91 93104 27149.
The duration of each video should be 1 to 2-minutes and can be made using any smartphone or camera. The videos can be about your property, your guests and/or their reviews, local attractions, local festivals, or anything directly related to your property.
Best of all, you don't need to worry about any extra charges. Video/Photo processing, editing, and promotion across our social media platforms are 100% free for member properties β today, tomorrow, and always.
